Rip Rugby Tournament

 We are lucky enough have the opportunity to enter a year 5/6 Rip Rugby tournament that is held in Greymouth each Friday throughout June.  The children who have entered are Adarsh, Tom N, Logan, Deacon, Taylor-Rose, Sophie, Cohen and AJ.  They had their first 2 games on Friday and had so much fun.  I would like to say a massive thank you to Julie the TA who is supporting this team and to all the parent helpers who are helping to transport the children into Greymouth.

Rip Rugby

So today we all learnt something new.....there is another type of Ripper Rugby but just called Rip Rugby.  The difference between Rip Rugby and Ripper Rugby is in Rip Rugby they introduce scrums and line outs.  Once again Sport West Coast have provided us with a fantastic opportunity to develop our resilient kids even further and give them another set of skills.  It was boys verse girls and this made for great entertainment.
