Awahono School Fun Run

As you can see from these photographs, Room 5 had a great time at the school Fun Run last Friday.
The course included a number of obstacles to go over, under and through. The goal for Room 5 students was to run at least three times around the course, but many people exceeded that goal with some managing a whopping ten laps!
Everyone dressed in their house colours and after lunch the senior students ran games for the rest of the school.

  1. Nice work team! 3 laps is a great achievement and 10 is pretty spectacular! The obstacles look like a lot of fun. A few years ago I did an event called Tough Mudder - it was a long run with lots of obstacles, it was HEAPS of fun but very challenging. Did you find your fun run challenging or easy? What was your favourite obstacle?

  2. Thanks for the comment. I aimed for ten laps, but ended up doing 12! My favourite obstacle was the cardboard tube and I only found it challenging in the last four laps. from Miro
