Limestone is a type of sedimentary rock with at least 50% of calcium init. It has shells and bones in it. It was made billions of years ago. Limestone was made in the sea and the desert.

It was made in the sea, the desert, lakes and rivers billions of years ago.If you put limestone in vinegar it starts to bubble like the bottom of a big bottle of lemonade when you open it up. After a couple of days soaking in vinegar it forms tiny white crystals.
