Room 5 Art

We were inspired by the work of Californian artist Lee Anderson to work together as a class to create an art work to brighten our walls for the start of the year. We used a variety of patterns and chose groups of colours from a selection we were given.

    I LOVE you bright and colourful artwork, I am sure it makes a big difference to your classroom walls. Did you look at some of Lee's artwork online for inspiration? What have you used for your artwork? Is it paint or perhaps pastel? Tricky to tell in the photo :-)

    Thanks for your comment. We looked at Lee Anderson's work online. Some of it is 3D and some is 2D.
    We used coloured pencil. Some of our patterns are small so it was easier to colour in.
